On Sunday morning, we bought 65 flowers and gave them to random people we met in Tao Dan park and streets near there. They gave us back many beautiful images and smiles.
Two teenager boys asked: "Why do girls give flowers to boys? So weird!" A little girl in red dress whispered: "But I do like ice cream". An old woman demanded: "So after giving flower, will you give me money?" I laughed: "Sorry, I have flowers only." She wondered: "How can you dress beautifully but have no money?"
Two Malaysian or Indonesian women gave my flower to a bus driver. Another guy looked at the flower as if it is an amazing creature in the world. And I still remember the radiant smile of an old woman who sat still in her wheelchair.
Most of them asked for a reason and we answered: "Because today is a beautiful day." Wasn't it?
So that's the first activity of a project named Absolutely Inutile. Will you join in with us?
