About the loss

It has been 5 or six years that I did not watch any TV show. This season, I was fascinated accidentally by Masterchef (for Junior and Adult). I kept watching the show non stop for few days.

Today, I read a news about the suicide of Josh Marks, the finalist of season 3. He left this world more than one year ago. And right after reading news from many newspapers, I found this post from Christine Hà, the winner of season 3.

An insightful and compassionate thoughts.

One week

I went to the monastery last weekend and stayed there for one night. After returning from there, I tried to do these things and I felt much happier:

1. I tried to cook Benedict egg. It's not difficult at all and it's delicious.
2. I thought again about my job and let gratitude grow up.
3. I had a vow with Avalokitesvara about reconciliation and something did happen on this Monday.
4. I did craft again on Sunday.
5. I sent letters and gifts to people.
6. I tried to create something new for my job (the picture is my newest report, I did it with Photoshop for the first time in my life). The process of self learning always made me excited too much.
7. I decided to go to Plum Village for 3 weeks next year.

Today, I'm 29 years old and 2 months. Thank you for being with me.

Some people are like trees. They take forever to grow up. And they don't always grow straight.
But they grow anyway, and they're beautiful.

A poem of Bukowski

The crunch

[...]

there is a loneliness in this world so great
that you can see it in the slow movement of
the hands of a clock.

people so tired
mutilated
either by love or no love.

people just are not good to each other
one on one.

the rich are not good to the rich
the poor are not good to the poor.

we are afraid.

our educational system tells us
that we can all be
big-ass winners.

it hasn't told us
about the gutters
or the suicides.

or the terror of one person
aching in one place
alone

untouched
unspoken to

watering a plant.
